sweetlittleclosetfreak:@angelandmusic and @sweetlittleclosetfreak i had just gotten to work and one of my coworkers said hey k…a plane just hit one of the towers and within what appeared seconds we watched another one, one of the most surreal moments of my life…first call was to home, as my children were smaller then to make sure they were safe…I am from New York originally, although the atrocity hit everyone …i had family and friends there still able to share their personal story… The one thing everyone should carry with them, is that anywhere, at anytime, anything is possible. My son had nightmares for months…which in retrospect is a very small thing from such a large catastrophic event…. Never forget….. right now i can’t say America is in unity but that day, in those months that followed, i was never more proud of my country…i was never so proud to see people coming together with blood sweat and tears…of all the workers and volunteers..That day….of all days …renewed my faith in mankind and in camaraderie ….working together as strangers side my side struggling their hardest to save unknown lives .Never ….ever….forget. -- source link
