This is Pat, again. I apologize if it’s painful to see posts to Cris’s blog, but I’ve been getting a lot of questions, some of which I feel should be answered for everyone.Who am/was I to Cris? That’s me, Cris, and my sister at PAXSouth. Uhh. I think it 2016. It’s one of my favourite pictures. I’ve known Cris since 2007? Maybe 2006. We had the same major, became friends, took advantage of the fact that we could get her wheelchair in my tiny Mini Cooper, and graduated together. We stayed friends afterwards and played DnD every weekend for the past 4 years.Did I get permission to share news of her death on social media? YES. Can I share stories or memories with you about Cris to give to her family?Yes. You can post them here, or send them to me over @labrattish While it is sad, her family (and I) love hearing how she touched people’s lives. Are you still watching/actively monitoring her blog?Yup. I can’t tell you how long I’ll be around or actively checking it…but I also don’t want to delete her blog. It’s part of her living legacy. What’s your favourite memory about Cris?Honestly. We made a lot of memories. ALOT. I shared a ton on my FB, and some over on my Tumblr…One that I haven’t shared, which still makes me smile:Cris loved mojitos. Like crazy loved mojitos. So she’d order one when we went out. There was a night where she was like 2 or three mojitos deep (those of you that know Cris, know she had like zero alcohol tolerance). I off-handedly told her that if she was too drunk to transfer from her chair into my car (or out of my car when I got her home), I was gonna leave her ass on the curb and call her mother. Needless to say, she managed to get home. Where she promptly told her mom I threatened to leave her on the curb. That was the first time I heard her mom really laugh. Like laugh so hard she was almost crying. I think about it a lot when I start (or think about) drinking. So yeah. If you have any questions, ask them I’ll be happy to answer if I can. -- source link
