Bird no. 262. Short fuse..Needing to know everything makes it hard to ask for help. You can’t come back from “I KNOW!!” and say “hey, um… how do you open a seed again”? .When I worked as a software developer I found asking for help really hard. The people who belong here don’t need to ask questions, right? (spoiler: not right - everyone should ask more questions)..Some folks turn their insecurity into good humour, I turned mine into anger and wore it around like a chain mail suit. For a woman in tech, there are lots of really great things to be angry about. Don’t worry, I’m not going to drag us through it .That armour served me really well for a few years, but it couldn’t last.
