Poor Laura’s head was swirling with her feelings and thoughts as her turmoil interrupted her bedtime
Poor Laura’s head was swirling with her feelings and thoughts as her turmoil interrupted her bedtime prayers. It was mere days before her wedding and tonight her fiancé Robert had continued to slowly reveal to his betrothed his expectations of her in his home. She thought about Robert’s deep gentle voice speaking with such calm authority tonight as he continued to instruct her on differences between being a Good Girl as a daughter and being a Good Girl as a Wife. Robert made it clear in their early courtship that his future Wife was expected be a Good Girl. Laura knew to her very core that she was a Good Girl and strove to be a Good Girl. Admittedly at least once a fortnight - often more - she still found herself crying bare bottomed tears of sorrow in her Father’s den as a result of her running afoul of his strict household rules and high expectations, but like her Father always said “how else do Good Girls stayed Good Girls?” That is what her Father believed, therefore it was true.Tonight she had been informed that Robert expected his Wife to present herself bare bottomed when she came to his bed. This would be quite the change from the rules Laura’s Father had for his daughter. In her Father’s home such behaviour would absolutely result in six expertly placed fatherly cane strokes on her tender bottom and a night spent trying to avoid sleeping on her back.So tonight as she went to bed Laura wanted to see what it felt like to prepare for bed in the fashion her future Husband would require. She wanted to discover how it felt but she prayed she would not be discovered. Her curiosity had gotten the better of her. Laura felt like she was living in two different worlds at the same time as she transitioned from daughter to Wife. She was confused but she knew she was in good hands with Robert. Being a Wife would be very different but her Husband would guide and correct her as she worked to become the Wife she believed he deserved.Laura smiled at her naivete as she remembered that she allowed a ghost of a hope to enter her mind of forever leaving behind her life of regular corporal discipline when she married. She remembered how that hope was charmingly swept away when Robert reassure her in his matter of fact way with, “of course I will continue to discipline you my darling. How else do Good Girls stay Good Girls?”“Of course” Laura thought to herself, a blush coming to her cheeks, “how else indeed?” It’s what her Father believed and it’s what her fiancé believed, therefore it is true. -- source link
