Assault rifles aren’t even for hunting or self defense, their sole purpose is to kill multiple people with efficiency. Rosa Parks was trying to end racism and racist traditions.I fucking hate people so much.Every fucking day, I have to wake up and read yet another comment from some emotional reactionary spouting canned falsehoods about the Second Amendment, and metric tons of misinformation about the classification and function of modern firearms.I am expected to tolerate these falsehoods, because they’re opinions, and I live in a country that protects people who have differing views and opinions, no matter how simple, misguided, uninformed, and Constitutionally illiterate they may be. And if someone with these opinions manages to get into a position of authority, I have to put up with whatever feel-good, do-nothing, constantly-invalidated-by-empirical-study, asinine knee-jerk gun control laws they attempt to put into play, regardless of how much they infringe on the right to bear arms; a right that civil rights activists fought and died for, because of racist Democrats who were (and still are) terrified by the thought of blacks owning firearms.You know nothing of hate. -- source link
