At first.A state mandated dress code, to raise Patriotism and encourage Unity and mend the broken divides between Republican and Democrat had seemed an absurd idea at first, especially since it was limited solely to women.The President, Richard Bates, had released a speech with the new law, calling for the Feminist to put down her activism signs and come together with her opposition, to accept the equality they had. Many resisted at first of course, refusing to wear the garb and rallying against it.But since it was issued to them when they were arrested, it was ultimately pointless. The small implants in the tight fabric molded their minds with positive and negative reinforcement, dampening their rebellious attitude until they were just as compliant as the other women who wore their flag proudly.Nine months after the law had come into effect, there was a 100% compliance rate, and the rescinding of Suffrage was passing through the Senate quickly. -- source link
