COURSER > COURIER > SOLE SURVIVORIt’s about time I tell y’all about this lady. Buckle up kids, you’re in for a treat.Gallery | Playlist | ArtFever Six, or X6-91, is a courser created by the Institute in the year 2281. After a teleportation relay malfunction, X6-91 found herself in the middle of the Mojave, where she soon signed up for a job as a courser in the hopes of finding a method of transportation back East. Unfortunately, however, the game was rigged from the start, and the next thing she knew, she was waking up on Doc Mitchell’s couch with a hole in her head, a fever of 110 degrees, and no memory of who she was before, save for a single phrase: The Boston Commonwealth. After siding with the NCR in the Second Battle of Hoover Dam, Fever demands payment in the form of transportation East. In 2284, she takes a vertibird as far East as possible and from there travels by foot to Boston. There, Fever learns about a race of artificially created humans called synths, and realizes there could be an explanation for why she has been repeatedly referred to as a superhuman “killing machine”. Over time, she is pushed into accepting that she must be a synth by her Gen 3 friend, Nick Valentine, who recognizes the signs quickly after meeting her.Relationships:Benny Gecko - A wild one night stand turned into a week of hey-hey and an odd friendship before Fever killed him in his sleep on the 7th night. The Platinum Chip is priceless, baby!Craig Boone - After wandering the Mojave with Boone for several months, Fever caught mad feelings for the sniper veteran. He never returned her feelings, and instead chose to remain in the Mojave when Fever left for Boston. While they never had a romantic relationship, they did have a frenemies-style friendship that mystified Cass, Veronica, and Raul.Paladin Danse - Fever pretends she knows nothing about the BoS when she arrives in the Commonwealth, and inserts herself as a new recruit on the Prydwen, where she does not recognize Paladin Danse the first time she sees him out of his power armor, which embarrasses her to no end whenever they go on missions. Despite their better judgement, they are intimate on several occasions, and despite Danse’s insistence on a more serious relationship, Fever remains aloof. When they are found out for being synths, Danse decides he cannot stay in the Commonwealth with the BoS and Fever reminding him of what he could never be, and leaves without a goodbye. Fever looks for him for the rest of her life, but never finds him.Nick Valentine - Originally being highly suspicious of synths with her BoS background, Fever acted reluctant to travel with Nick and kept him at arm’s length until the events of Far Harbor. After DiMA breaks both of their brains and Institute data confirms the worst, the two became fast friends as they struggled to accept their identities as synths. Although their bickering never stops, they were forced to admit that they did make quite the team, and after they destroyed the Institute together, Fever attached “Valentine” to her odd string of names (for the sake of the brand, of course). They spend the rest of their lives making the remnants of the US Northeast a better place, case by case.Fever refuses to admit it, but the reason why she never properly dated Danse was because she had a mad crush on the Commonwealth’s favorite synth the whole time.Misc.Fever is an ESTP, Enneagram type 7w8She stands at 5′7″, though she is convinced she is actually 5′8″Her favorite food is Fancy Lads Snack Cakes… for a reasonShe considers herself a Mormon after her time in Zion with Joshua Graham, despite not really knowing what all it entails. She takes her Bible with her all the way to Boston, and nearly destroys it out of grief when she discovers that she was created artificially. Nick stops her and convinces her that while she may not have a “soul,” others might find hope in the message. She donates her Bible to All Faiths Chapel and records her recollections about New Canaanite rituals and the story of the Burned Man.She flirted incessantly with Magnolia for awhile, but Magnolia told her she was too “rough around the edges.” This crushed Fever and made her start straightening her hair. -- source link
