I’m not sure how I feel about this change. In the manga, Usagi is much more melancholy in this moment, she’s still resolved to do her duty, this is her fate and she’ll face it, but it’s sadder there. On the one hand, it’s more ominous in the manga, but on the other… while I think this is obviously Usagi pushing herself to be more upbeat about accepting her fate, I do like that there’s more cheer to her here, that everything she went through and gained in the Black Moon arc has her feeling more like she can do this, she can face this, and she can overcome it.Both ways work for me, both give me a ton of feelings about what Usagi faces and how she faces them. That she feels something must be coming, that she’s sad her happiness always seems to be taken away the second she has it in her hands, but she’ll keep fighting and she’ll keep loving, because that’s who Tsukino Usagi is.So, I don’t mind this change, even as I like the original manga’s, too! -- source link
