I know like every Sailor Moon analysis has brought this up before but it needs to be said again:Sailor Moon is the story of a warrior tasked with finding and rescuing the princess, only to find out she is the princess and then she rescues her damn self and the whole world along with her. And she doesn’t, like most princesses in stories, stay a princess. She grows up, and she takes power, and becomes queen. Of the whole world. And she is a great ruler and is pretty much universally loved. Girls in this story literally rule the world. -- source link
