minimilktea:i can only apologize for the potato quality of this post but tonight’s episode of “chichinpuipui” seriously caught me off guard and i was screaming too much to keep a steady hand. this very fine young man here is yanagida masahiro, wing spiker on the mens national volleyball team for japan. the whole segment of tonight’s show was about how the haikyuu manga actually gave them passion and strength and NEVER DID I THINK MY FANDOMS WOULD EXPLODE ON TV LIKE THIS WITHOUT ANY WARNING. he talked about bokuto having true qualities of an ace, and how he really felt the frustration and desperation of what it’s like to face an impenetrable wall in reference to when kageyama apologized to hinata that time for losing against seijou. it’s really something else to see professional volleyball players validate your intense love of volleyball manga <3 basically this was a love story about haikyuu and yanagida’s beautiful face was splashed all over it and i screamed for an hour straight.
