bluelightenterprises: weirdzootopiaframes: little thing i noticed while going over this scene. here we see our dynamic duo investigating the weirdly modern hospital which is seemingly at the centre of everything. judy is focused on the space itself. her ears are up, her flashlight’s on, and she’s taking in as much as she can but nick, right behind her, does something different - at first opportunity, he reaches for these medical documents. he doesn’t linger over them long, because judy moves on without him and he (understandably) wants to stay close. but i think it’s a neat little moment of characterisation, and something that differentiates him from judy when they’re both cops. while judy is more present, more in the moment, nick has his eye out for other forms of information. other avenues he can use to learn about a situation. …yes i’m still extrapolating characterisation from split-second moments, what about it One thing I’ve learned from hanging in the Zootopia fandom for three years or so is that it’s not possible to overthink any scene from the film. -- source link
