In Young Justice: Phantoms’ episode Esir Nomed, the Child and Klarion talk about a “fiasco“ involving Earth-17, the neighbour to the show’s setting of Earth-16.Within the comics, Earth-17 is generally depicted as being a post-apocalyptic wasteland, home of characters like Kamandi and the Atomic Knights.Strictly speaking, although the Young Justice show has externally been confirmed to be in the same Multiverse as both the other animated and live-action DC properties, the last time Earth-16 was depicted in the comics outside of the context of the show, Grant Morrison revamped it to being a world inhabited by second generation heroes and villains who approach the superhero business like they’re celebrities. It was odd. While prior to the creation of the show, Earth-16 was meant to be the home of the Super-Sons (the source Morrison was drawing from when doing their own version), so the entire thing’s in flux really. So yeah, no idea what the Fiasco on Earth-17 Klarion was involved in was, only it may or may not be related to a universe where the DC version of Fallout is based? -- source link
