meltingpenguins:theviolenttomboy:This month’s ORAS chapter summary, courtesy of Coronis (and I just guessed as to what’s being said in these speech bubbles): It starts with Red and Blue questioning if Blaise and Amber are new enemies or just enemies of the enemy. Groudon and Kyogre then show up, and Archie/Maxie are delighted that they are already awakened. Archie and Maxie are able to address Blaise and Amber by name, but the two still aren’t very convinced that the two are who they appear to be, especially Blaise, who tells Amber to stop telling strange people everything (Amber was explaining to Archie/Maxie how they found out about Hoopa and used it to summon the titans). Blaise and Amber apparently are not aware of Mega Evolution, however, since they are shocked to see the new formes of Blastoise, Venusaur, Sharpedo and Camerupt. Archie and Maxie are disappointed that they didn’t expand their knowledge in the past 4 years. They are also somehow aware that Blaise must know the Orbs could do more than controlling Groudon and Kyogre, and explain their origin (pretty much like in the games): that Groudon and Kyogre fought over energy in the ancient times but as time went on, the natural energy reserve in Hoenn dwindled, thus disabling the two from maintaining their true formes. The last of Hoenn’s rich natural energy became the Orbs, and thus the Orbs could return the titans to their original formes. Archie added that the Kyogre who sank Hoenn 4 years ago was not at its full strength, and this seemingly shocked Blaise and Amber. Red tries to snatch the Orbs away, but the titans protect Archie/Maxie and they explain that the titans yearn for the energy and thus are on their side. With that, Archie/Maxie primal revert the titans but letting the jewels get absorbed into their bodies. Meanwhile, Ruby realizes that the Kindler was not just an ordinary Kindler but Blaise and remembers his fire illusion trick. He gets Latios to faint Slugma, effectively ending its illusions. Ruby and Emerald decide to go find Rayquaza since it is also the only Pokemon that can stop Groudon and Kyogre but soon notice that something is wrong. The time is still midnight but the sky has lightened up. They then see Groudon and Kyogre in their primal forms, and apparently the heat waves giving off from their combined powers are preventing the Latis from flying close. Within the zone, Red and Blue manage to KO Sharpedo and Camerupt, and Archie/Maxie are thankful that the titans have already awakened, otherwise Red and Blue could have thwarted their plans with their powers. Yet, they now have the titans, and possess overwhelming power. Maxie proves it by getting Primal Groudon to bury Red and Blue under boulders and Archie also tests out Primal Kyogre’s powers by sinking the SS Tidal. Ruby stops Emerald from helping those on board, since their utmost important mission now is to find Rayquaza.Meanwhile, Steven and Joseph Stone arrive at the Space Center which is surrounded by the media. The rocket is set to launch in 30 minutes, and Sapphire communicates with Steven by writing on his palm (I guess her linguistic skills have improved over the years). She informs him that she feels the malice of Zinnia nearby, and Steven is astonished that apart from the usual 5 senses, Sapphire can also detect other things. He is also ashamed/surprised that although he contributed to Sapphire’s rage (by keeping the asteroid secret from her), she continued to be supportive. Sapphire then undresses, smears herself with berry juice stain, and leaps off to find Zinnia. Indeed, Zinnia is nearby, ready to attack the rocket, but Sapphire succeeds in ambushing her and the two are about to battle it out…So, how high are the chances that 1. these are genuinely supposed to be the Spe dorks and 2. Kusaka is making up shit as he goes? -- source link
