Let’s quit everything fun. Just for fun. I noticed my clothes shopping was getting a bit weird and super out-of-proportion with what I actually needed… a little binge-y. So I decided to detox from clothing-shopping for the month. Why? Because shoes (or any other clothing item) are not the boss of me. There are two weeks left in Oct….care to join me and refrain from shopping for the rest of the month? In brainstorming titles for my upcoming podcast episode about this very challenge, I ended up with a bunch of alternate titles and a bit of a silly narrative. Enjoy… *Filling my cart with avoidance *Mind your own beeswax and shopping cart *Keep your eyes on your own shopping cart *Shopping for anything *Those shoes are not the boss of me *Don’t make me return you *Buying to return and to buy again *This is seriously not healthy *Just leave me alone with my shopping cart *Don’t drink? You can stuff your feelings with shopping *Shopping in your own closet is a real-thing Also… If you feel so inspired, google the Bergen Shopping Addiction Scale And if you decide to try the two-week no-shopping challenge, write me an email, or send me a voice memo to my email at getquirkywithit@gmail.com and let me know how it’s going. What’s easy? What’s hard? What kinds of feelings are coming up for you? <3 https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo-97Jvh7br/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=a4wxujbv91ie -- source link
