He waited there, for God knows how long, with his umbrella desperately fighting against each season that came and eventually left. He waited like the most patient man in the whole world. Years were just minutes for him and decades as hours. . Little did he know, he was the one being waited for. . And so the day arrived when he thought he can no longer sit there. He walked away from that usual spot and as he turned left, he met an old friend he didn’t know he had. But a feeling of relief stormed his heart, defeating the wonder that first came shelter in it. For the first time, a stranger became so familiar. Like a relative without a name. . At long last, he said. His wait paid off. As it appeared, both of them have been waiting long enough for each other. He greeted him with enthusiasm even if the wrinkles in his face show despair. . I never knew it was death I have been waiting for all my life, he said as if dying is the ultimate gift God has given him. . #fujap_2016july16 #fotografiaunited #whprealemojis #proseisnotdead (at Manila American Cemetery) -- source link
