Spooktober Candy Corn OwlBlack-Banded Owl (Strix huhula/Ciccaba huhula)-This grumpy owl lives in the tropical and subtropical forests throughout the northern and central regions of South America. In the night, it is extremely difficult to spot this owl, aside from its bright orange beak and feet.Like most owls, they hunt at dusk and feed mostly on insects, small vertebrae. Males and females have distinctly different voices.
