To my shock and delight I woke up to a new baby this morning, but not from Lucy. Hope was apparently pregnant and I had no idea. She’s tiny and perfect and I’m already smitten. I’ve taken care of cord care and initial cleaning and now I’m just keeping this little darling warm until I can get her some sweaters. I’m posting this from my car, with a newborn goat in my lap while I wait for the windows to defrost.
