palaeofail:ARK’s Giganotosaurus. Note the human.Giganotosaurus was not that big. GIGANOTOSAURUS WAS NOT THAT BIG! It was about 13 metres/40 feet long and 3.5 metres/10 feet tall. It also couldn’t turn its palms to face downwards without dislocating its wrists. While we’re at it, Tyrannosaurus wasn’t that big either, at about the same size as Giganotosaurus. It should be covered in hair-like protofeathers, and it couldn’t turn its wrists like that either. The sauropod is actually, anatomy wise, pretty good, aside from the extra claw on the fourth finger. But even the largest known sauropods were not over 2m tall at the wrist. That man should be at least taller than its elbow, assuming it’s a diplodocid. -- source link
