January 17, 2021 - Johanna’s Sunbird (Cinnyris johannae)These sunbirds are found in parts of western and central Africa in forests, clearings, gardens, and cocoa plantations. Foraging alone or in flocks of up to five birds, they eat insects, spiders, pollen, some fruits, and nectar. They build messy nests from bark, moss or lichen, fungal fibers, leaves, and palm fibers in palms and other trees. Females lay clutches of one or two eggs. -- source link
