Mooncake season! My favourite snow-skin mooncakes (冰皮!) are back. Champagne Truffle & Ganache | Tropical Tango Mooncake | Rum and Golden Raisin | Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearl | Irish Coffee Truffle As evidenced by the picture, I’m awful at cutting through that chocolate crusted centre. Also, I was dying for a bite and couldn’t care less about doing justice to the Irish Coffee truffle mooncake. Maybe I will try again when I’m less hungry. As usual, tea pops into the picture - reused Jin Gui (金桂) tea again. I caught a light whiff of the elusive floral aroma, was it Chrysanthemum? Osmanthus?
