Hey there, I’m not dead lol.I made up an alien species for an upcoming Space Opera DnD by our usual GM, here are the Kijins :D I’ll be playing Nakashima, the red guys at the far left, the others are just other representatives of the specie! They’re obviously based on japanese Oni!They also have the ability to split in two the side that got split becomes pale and loses its symmetric parts (horn, ear, hair, part of the organs) that forms back when the re-fuse. If one of the two parts dies, it “grows” back on the original body, slowly, making them vulnerable in the meantime. If both parts die, they die for real, obviously. They are all 100% symmetrical in design, long, black, braided hair is a standard for them, losing or cuting your hair is considered humiliating and degrading. It’s also very common in their culture to wear heavy golden earrings or ear weights. Their markings are always white and the white symbol on their plexus is a “Kamon” a heraldic insign showing off their family’s legacy, they often wear the same symbol on their clothes/accessories or weapons.Speaking of family, they have very big families with a lot of offsprings, having 6 or less kids is considered “very little”, the average being around 10 or 12, they start having kids at a very young age, considering they have a pretty long lifespan (I’m not fixed yet but a few centuries) and they age pretty slowly. They were know for centuries to be a nation of thieves and pirates, until they got their ass kicked by the current galactic empire. They STILL are thieves and pirates…but some of them are trying to do good and engage with “normal” activities and jobs.AAAAAAAND I’ll stop rabling about them, here they are, meet the Kijins :D(I may or may not do some Kijin adopts soon…because someone already requested a custom one and I may have a few peeps interested in getting one…would you?) -- source link
