Keep focusing on my words and this relaxing, heavy feeling moving through your body. Feel it move up your arms and to your shoulders, relaxing them completely. Let’s focus on your breathing now. Take some nice, long, deep breaths. Breathing in through your nose… and out through your mouth. Let your breathing become slower, steadier, and softer. As you focus on your breathing, just notice what your body does as you exhale. Feel how you deflate and relax, more and more. You may begin to feel the rest of your body begin to relax as well. The muscles in your face may begin to relax. Your eyelids may become heavy, although you can still keep them open enough to read my words. Your chest and back are becoming more and more relaxed, and you just feel so good. Relaxing more and more, deeper and deeper. You might find that your legs have become very heavy. It is as though someone attached heavy, heavy weights on them. You could try to move them, but you’re just so relaxed that you can’t even be bothered to move them at all. And you can hear every relaxing word I say, now. Isn’t that true? Nod. Feel yourself just slip deeper and deeper into this nice hypnotic trance. Deeper and deeper with every word you read. Any resistance only causes you to become more frozen in place.In a moment, you will read the words “Freeze now.” When you do, your entire body will be completely frozen for about a minute, and you will feel absolutely wonderful.3…2..1… Freeze now.Very good.
