Even as it always stays one step ahead? Try to catch it! Follow the dot! Perhaos, if you’re fast enough, you can keep up. Perhaps you won’t lose it, in the pretty flashes. Perhaps you’ll stay perfectly in tune with it, as it dances away, from flash, to flash, to flash. Be careful. It’s clever. It knows you’re watching. It knows you’re trying to catch up. So somehow, every time your eyes move to follow that pretty red dot, it again jumps just out of sight. Just out of reach. And still, your eyes follow, moving to catch up. Moving with each flash to stay with the pretty red light. Feeling so close, each time. As though something keeps slipping away, with each flash. Slipping away, just out of reach, as your eyes are compelled to follow on. It’s okay. You can play this game for as long as you like. You can keep playing, keep following the dot, keep chasing it from flash to flash, for as long as you like. You can keep allowing your eyes to be compelled to follow on, for as long as you like.
