“Cradle,” was taken in January 2018 but, I have been working on it for about 4 years. A new career in health care then, unfortunately, a broken leg and open heart surgery for a congenital heart defect and some other health issues delayed my goal of creating one surreal self-portrait a year. I worked on “Cradle,” on and off throughout the struggles of the last few years and as always found my project extremely therapeutic to my recovery.
