katblaque:sjwbullshit:katblaque:sjwbullshit:katblaque:sjwbullshit:katblaque:black-supremafeminist:GIRL. REBECCA. STOP IT NOW. GIRL. NO. LMFAO. THAT’S NOT. C’MON QUIT PLAYIN’.True story: This white hair dresser just followed me on instagram. I was looking at his work and he mostly does black women’s hair and to be honest he’s good. So I was like “yasss booo” and i gave him a pass because his work was good and his clients are happy. Then I see that he does braids on white women and… the foolishness. The absolute foolishness. NO EDGES TO BE FOUND.. ugh. How dare a professional give people what they want. Refusing service to customers due to their race should be the norm in this situation, obviously. Get the fuck out of here.Lol. Why dont white people seem to understand that this isnt the problem? I dont blame a person for getting paid. I really dont. White people are entitled and haven’t been denied anything in this world. In fact they are celebrated and defended when they wear cultural hairstyles that dont belong to them. Thats the issue. But you people wont get this no matter how many times its explained to them. You were upset by the fact that he did braids on white women. You were upset by his work, which is why he gets paid. And now you’re saying it’s not the fact he does braids on white women, it’s that white people aren’t denied anything. You’re upset because nobody told whitey “No” when they wanted to try a new hairstyle. None of these hairstyles belong to anyone. It’s fucking hair. You people dont ever want to listen tp this conversation. Youre obsessed woth pointing out hypocrisies. Im not upset that a white person does black hair. Im not upset that a white woman wears black hair styles. Im upset that black women are told to cut and often straighten their hair in order to be professional and white people are celebrated for it because our hair on them is edgy. Do you fucking get it? We are kicked out of schools unless we cut out hair and denied employment unless we entertain eurocentric styles. This is not about white people and hair. Its a large conversation that you are incapable of having because what is “just hair” to you is not just hair to many black women who wear these styles and are hurt because of it. They are chastised for the natural texture of their hair. And this style is designed to protect the natural texture of their hair. You are not equipped to have this conversation. Why didn’t you say that from the beginning… You are literally telling me I don’t understand a conversation i never had with you. Don’t even fucking bother, you aren’t worth my time.Lol this is a conversation that i have constantly on my platform. YOU interrupted. It is a large conversation about black women and their natural hair and this is one aspect of that conversation. Remain silent when you have no understanding. Sit quietly and do not voice an opinion when it was not requested. -- source link
