Every year we welcome a cohort of bright and passionate young professionals into our Museum Education Fellowship Program. This year Mei Kazama, Julia Zubrovich, Julianna Lee Marino (L-R top), Katherine Chavez, Tayler Milburn, and Beatrix Archer (L-R bottom) came to the Museum with a wide range of skills and experience: Kat has youth development experience; Tayler has an M.A. in Early Childhood Education; Mei has experience as a teaching artist in New York City public schools; Julia minored in Deaf Studies and has taken courses in ASL; Julianna brings a unique perspective as both a dancer and anthropology major; and Bix developed research and writing skills as curatorial intern that are easily transferable to the Fellowship. All were selected for their intellect, diligence, interest in teaching, and passion for the arts. You can join their ranks as a Fellow for the 2020-2021 cycle of the Museum Education Fellowship Program.
