xenocatartifacts:June is Pride Month. As a LGBT friendly and co-operated store, we at XenoCat want to show our appreciation for all of those who fight everyday for their rights to love and to live without discrimination and hate. This is a month of love, remembrance, acceptance and pride. This is a month to understand and grow. Be an ally, be a friend. Be a lover, be a supporter. Be steadfast, be brave. Be loud. Be a beacon of hope. Be a voice for those who can’t yell loud enough that love is love. And for those who can’t share their pride out loud, be patient. Stay hopeful. Your support still matters, and you are not alone. Be you. On this month, we will be opening our store for customs. Each custom ordered product placed with a pride theme (any alignment/spectrum) will have 20% of its income donated to The Point Foundation. These orders will be artistic liberty only but will match your choice of alignment/spectrum accordingly. Each order will be unique and special to you! (We still need to cover our costs of production). Simply click the link to our page and select “Request a Custom” or send us a message to get started. https://www.etsy.com/shop/XenoCatArtifacts?ref=seller-platform-mcnavEducation is one of the best tools we can use to build a brighter future, and we believe that having LGBTQ+ representation is not only important, but critical to our future voices. Please read the foundations mission statement below. “Point Foundation empowers promising lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential - despite the obstacles often put before them - to make a significant impact on society. Point Foundation is the nation’s largest LGBTQ students of merit; having provided more than 350 scholarships since 2002. Point promotes change through scholarship funding, mentorship, leadership development, and community service training. Upon completing their tenure as scholars, Point Alumni continue to have access to the Point community, resources, and leadership programming. Point is continually exploring ways to uplift and support our diverse and growing network of LGBTQ leaders. In 2017 Point is expanding its Community College Scholarship Program (initial funding thanks to Wells Fargo), which assists LGBTQ students in their final year at a community college who are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university.”https://my.pointfoundation.org/donatePlease also consider donating independently. Any and all support helps! We will publicly show our proof of donation halfway through the month, and end of month.
