She was a little girl when her country was stricken by an internal war, leading to her father being killed and mother being incapable of taking care of her out of grief. Thankfully, clerics and other support from a city of peace came to assist, and ultimately Edith ended up going with them when they returned home, taken in by the churches and making a life for herself there. After seeing the pain and consequences of war, Edith began following Oniron, god of charity, truth, and surety, and threw herself fully into the kindness and warmth of the following and gave aid and kindness as it was done for her.Her life since then has been entirely based within this, eventually ascending into clerichood by the nature of her good will and using her magic to further her cause and encourage others to see light and hope. She’s become well known for being a warm motherly figure, always lending out her time to take care of others and lend an ear or hand wherever needed.
