This summer the Feminist Library will take up residence in contemporary art space The Showroom, bringing elements of the Library’s fascinating collection, along with our collaborative, DIY ethos, and offering a programme of free workshops.WORKSHOPSAll workshops are free and are open to self-identified women and non-binary people, unless otherwise specified. Minna Haukka, our artist in residence will create a new art installation for the space. It will be a place for discussions, creativity and meeting new people, along with comfy seating, tea-making facilities and kids’ activities.Also taking place within the space will be Expressions, a group exhibition by young self-identified women of colour.The Feminist Library on Loan at The Showroom and Expressions are part of Create Church Street, which seeks to engage the local area with the arts.
