supersonicart:Ozabu’s “Meguru” at Hashimoto SF.Opening on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 at Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco, California is artist Ozabu’s stunning solo exhibition, “Meguru.”The title of the exhibition translates to “the changing of the seasons.” Fascinated by the fleetingmoments of subtle, nearly imperceptible transitions in nature, Ozabu’s work is a reflection of thisdelicacy and detail. The artist captures the intangible breaths between seasons that “go awaywithout saying goodbye” with etherial and flowing marks. The self-taught artist’s ghostly world is inspired by nature, mythology and a uniquely Japanesesensibility. Imbued with a folkloric sensibility, Ozabu’s subjects inhabit a liminal space betweenreality and spectral. Delicate figures commune with oversize flora and fauna in the intimately sizeddrawings, inviting the viewer to step in closer to their realm.Anew limited edition print created in collaboration with Pressure Printing will be released at theopening. The exhibition will be on view until December 23rd, 2019.-Be sure to follow Supersonic Art on Instagram! -- source link
