Where: Tuscan Countryside We went on a hike through the tuscan hillside. It was really beautiful, and luckily the weather held up until we finished. The hike was lightweight depressing because… it was evident that we all have been binging on pasta, wine, and gelato because our fatasses could NOT make it up the mountain. You would think the 19,000 stairs in this damn city would help, but honestly climbing up stairs doesn’t prepare you for the slopes of the italian countryside. oh, and we saw cows. real life cows at a real life farm. And there was a farmer. We said hi to him, and he was very cool and very italian. So shout out to the italian farmer on that hillside. At the top of the hill.. i know i said mountain before, but realistically? hill, we ate lunch at this little church. It was a little weird eating lunch on the lawn outside of a church, especially since i kept dropping F-Bombs because i was so tired, but it was the most relaxing pit stop. After lunch, we sort of wandered (hiked) further, and back down, and finished at this little bar. Of course i would have preferred a Bar (with the american sense of the word), the potato chips and chocolate was a nice little reward at the end of the tunnel. It started POURING rain and i couldnt help but feel extremely lucky that we didnt get stuck outside in that downpour. It was nice to do something active again, after 2 and a half months of vacationing, and i think it was a great way to see tuscany. -- source link
