I’ve never actually stated that I don’t like being called “she” but this is clearly not a typo.They has been a perfectly valid neutral pronoun for LITERALLY CENTURIES. We use it all the time WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS.Your teacher is an ass :lI know! People use “they” pronouns all the time without realizing it!“We still don’t know who the murderer is, or what their motive was.”Why do so few people realize this?? I’m sure she didn’t mean to be an ass. I really don’t know what her thought process was in editing this though.The weirdest part about it is that yeah, people speak and write like that all the time BUT when they are told that they adamantly deny it.
