Tin toy, Japan, 1960s. Made by Yoshiya (KO). Chromolithographed, acrylic glass, plastic. This futuristic space-capsule was brought to the market in by the Japanese toy company Yoshiya. The original packaging advertised “real space noise” and “non stop mystery action”. The battery powered saucer is controlled by an astronaut sitting in a glass capsule. The spiral antenna is rotating while the miniature spaceship is exploring new territory. -- source link
