I love this sculpture and the whole style of hyperrealism. I totally understand the nobleness and wisdom that is so revered in sculptures such as this one. The wrinkles and weathered look of the aristocrat’s face make him seem so experienced and toughened by the world. I have respect for this character like I have respect for the Hellenistic Greek sculpture of the Boxer. -- source link
