littlefootdoesstuff: animalrescuelg: Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens’ Center for Sustainable Landscapes has a few new residents! Last week, our Wildlife Center staff released two eastern box turtles in the lush landscape surrounding their lagoon. We’re certain that they will enjoy living there, especially with a plentiful array of their favorite foods! Phipps tells us that so far, the turtles are spending most of their time hidden in the tall grass. If you go for visit, see if you can spot them!Photo © Paul g. Wiegman Awesome conservation efforts!
