opossumkisser:opossumkisser:dyscalculia 101, by yr friendly neighborhood dyscalculiac who is sick of being called a bad friend for forgetting birthdaysi’m sorry if there’s any info i forgot here— lookin over it i’ve already realized i forgot to list some good examples of issues that come with dyscalculia.disclaimer: in no way do i claim to speak for every single individual with dyscalculia. no one person’s experience with dyscalculia is the exact same, & in no way do i claim to be an expert on the technicalities of dyscalculia. i just thought i’d share my own experience & knowledge to give folks a better understanding of something that’s affected me pretty much…. my whole life?? so yeah.i hope at least one person learns something from this!! & if this helps you in any way- to understand yourself or your friend or your siblings better, maybe- then i’m really really glad ôvônow if u excuse me i have some math homework to do.wow this got more notes than expected!!! gosh im so happy this has helped so many people !!!!! #dangan ronpa #sdr2 #long postOhhhhh. I think I might have this. That would explain why it takes me almost a minute of thinking to read an analog clock, why my math homework regularly made me cry, and why numbers like “twelve hundred” and “one hundred thousand” don’t really sound all that different to me. Interesting. -- source link
