lierrelearns:筋金門跡 Site of Sujigane-mon Gate元和6年(1620)開始された徳川幕府による大阪城再築工事では、同年第1期工事により二の丸の北外側の北外曲輪(三の丸)が築がれた。筋鉄門はその西の入り口で、門扉は筋状の鉄板で補強されていた。ここは鴫野方面への道路にあたることから一般の通行が許され、特に鴫野の弁財天の縁日には多数の市民がここを通った。門は明治維新後も残り、北外曲輪に設置された軍事工場 (大阪砲兵工廠)の正門とされたが、現在は左右の石組だけが残る。The Tokugawa Shogunate began the reconstruction of Osaka Castle in 1620 and completed the Kito-no-soto-kuruwa Bailey, during the first phase of work the same year. The Sujigane-mon Gate was built as the western entrance of the bailey, with doors reinforced by a number of iron plates arrange vertically. Providing convenient access to the Shigino area, this gate was open to the general public: many people traveled through the gate to the Benzaiten Shrine of Shigino on its festival days. The gate survived the Meiji Restoration and was once used as the main gate of a military factory built in the former site of the Kito-no-soto-kuruwa.
