Half-brother of Askold, Dir was bumped up to second-in-line for the throne initially as a fuck you to some uppity members of court, but his easy-going nature and wicked sense of humour has cemented him as the favourite companion of a very stressed out king. Despite his lofty title, Dir is still the subject of malicious rumours regarding his parentage… But he doesn’t mind - he’s way too relaxed to care, and the idea of upsetting people just by existing is something that he finds hilarious. -- source link
