Yes, that’s one of my windows. (Flags inverted so they are arranged correctly by regulation as viewed from outside.) Whatever Scotland decides—and I think they will decide for independence though that is not my preference, merely as an observer of course—I wish Scotland well. I’m not a stranger to it, having interned for a Scottish Member of Parliament, and I think 97% voter registration should be an inspiration to tired democracies everywhere, including, I hope, here in the US.
