Alright so here it is in order starting in 2012, my cosplays.Cosplay is legitimately a source for some of the most fun I’ve had in my whole life, some of the best friends I’ve made, and some of the most creative ways I’ve ever discovered for expressing myself, my interests, and my desire to learn new practical skills! I don’t just cosplay to cons. I go to movies as Alan Grant or a Hobbit and make friends with a pack of Ring Wraiths. I go to Medieval Fairs as Merida, and little girls ask if they can show me their archery skills. I dress as a character, and someone else form the same story asks for a photo, politely for a hug, and maybe we get each other’s blog urls so we can follow and encourage each other in future cosplays!Cosplaying goes beyond artistic nerds emoting through costume (though that is a lot of it haha). It’s being part of a story I love in a way that’s social, every-changing, and alive. And all of this, started here:So please, never give up on yourself in the world of cosplay!
