tailethefireheart: Urdutahk, the Wanted Death I’ve had this moc build for months, and his presence has been comparable to having a house cat that doesn’t do anything and isn’t pleasant to pet. I originally built this dragon for a D&D campaign that would be thematically similar to Bionicle, but not a Bionicle campaign. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get enough players together, and I’ve had the same difficulties scheduling sessions as I’ve had photographing Urdutahk, being school and my new job. Now then, story. Urdutahk is a warforged dragon built by an ancient dragon artificer. The creator built Urdutahk as his final hope in reproduction, he needed an heir as he drew near the end of his extensive lifespan. Urdutahk, being an artificial dragon brought to life without clear purpose, became a tyrant over an island near his place of origin. Urdutahk had very little instilled upon his mind, being the ability and will to learn and the desire to survive at any cost. Over millennia, Urdutahk came to pray on others and assert dominance over all in order to intimidate others away from attacking him. He was without need for food, and yet he still hunted as he saw it as an important and vital tactic in maintaining his sovereignty. He eventually earned the title “the Wanted Death” as any who encountered him hoped their demise would be quick and painless, as Urdutahk was, naturally, not one for leaving survivors. It wasn’t that people hoped he would kill them, but that if they should be so unfortunate as to encounter him, that he would not experiment in new methods of execution which would often drag on. The worst for many is the only sound they hear before being attacked, the strange roar of the devices on his back meant to substitute wings. However, an end to his merciless, tyrannical rule would soon arrive as a group of prophesied heroes approach. Though the prophecy predicts the arrival of such heroes, it does not predict their success. Should the heroes falter it could mean the end of all life within the realm as even the smallest slight against Urdutahk could cause him to become fully genocidal. -- source link
