«Freedom» by Vill Liedo«I hope one day you will return home, at least in your dreams…»The White Spirit in his beloved homeland, Soltebjarsh. I wanted to draw him completely free, to show not only physical freedom, but also spiritual freedom. So I drew White as a spirit here, in his most true and pure form that I’m able to draw, and I also tried to show his feeling of both home and freedom in this magical and ethereal landscape. I wanted this place to look like paradise, where the mountains open the way to the sky… in this case, I love this strange style that I use to draw landscapes.With this drawing, I wanted to make White’s only dream come true - his dream to return home. For him, this dream has become something much more than just a desire to return to some certain place… rather, it’s a desire to reunite with his spiritual home, to find freedom and peace in it.
