So we did finally go and see the Eternals this past Tuesday and yup they did have in theater mearch

So we did finally go and see the Eternals this past Tuesday and yup they did have in theater mearch for this one!  its been a while since they did have stuff but you can see more about that HEREanyway I can’t say I read alot of stuff with the Eternals. I can’t say I read any of their various series but I would say I know the basic origins about them both in there creation where they were created by the King himself Jack Kirby and are similarin a way to his DC creation the New GodsI’d say I’m more of a New Gods Fan then I am a fan of Eternals, I also know the basics about their comic book origins.the funny thing is I feel I know more about The Celestials characters then the actual Eternals probably becasue I’ve read more stuff with them in it also the thing with the Eternals is I always associate them with the Inhumans for some reason probably becasue I have been exposed to the Inhumans in the comics more then the Eternals so I probably have that cross recognition were one thing reminds me of another. but anyway we went to see the movie and personally I don’t know what all the complaints are about but I thought it was pretty good. true it is a bit different from the other Marvel movies and there was a slow spot here and there but at the same time it wasn’t actually slow it more more like transitional scenes like they were going from one thing to another.I did feel that it was a bit more on the universe building it was adding alot to the exterior of the over all story of the MCU all new things and places and ideasand helping pad the mythology a bit more it wasn’t overly interconnected but just enough being they talked about Thanos and the events of Infinity War and Endgame and all that.  I also feel that this movie and its credit scenes will probably factor into Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and maybe even stuff in the futuresuch as Fantastic Four and the next Avengers thing I think the movie was visually impressive it was nicely shot and production design and all thatwas really good. The story at times was a bit choppy at first being they were telling the somewhat origin at the same time as the main story through a series of flashbacks it was jumping back and forth from flashback to “present day” to flashback to “present day” I didn’t find it too annoying or anything it was trying explain who these ppl are and why their here while at the same time showing how that effects how they are living their lives in the present but it all become cohesivequickly and focuses on the main story in present day. I did think the visual effects and all that was really well done and really worked. The powers and how they were displayed was really interesting and I thought the the Deviants creatures were really well done as well and like I said I feel the movie visually impressive and the action and fights were were all very cool.I did feel it was very well actedand everyone did a good job with their characters and it did have some funny moments. in the end I thought it was pretty good and I enjoyed it for the most part. and yes like like I said there is actually 2 credits scenes one mid and one end which introduce some more characters to the MCU and the funny thing is I know way more about these introduced characters then I do about the actual Eternals lol  as for the mid credits they did a reallygood job on them so I was happy with that as for the end creditsone I thought they did a good job on that too so I was happy with all that. I did have to explain who these ppl were to one of my non comic booky friends that went with us.  but yeah give it a chance and watch it if you want don’t listen to the negativity about it give it a watch and make up your own mind -- source link
