lagycart: kame sushi, desa sri hartamas.fancy omakase dinner with friends last month, it was fun to enjoy nice food together, and to treat one of our dear friend’s birthday. this place is very cozy, with limited seats, mostly just by the bar, where you can watch the chef make your food, so reservation is definitely recommended.we arrived and was asked to pick a menu based on price, so we do not know what they would serve, we chose the 250 meal, and there are 9 dishes, including dessert, with the main being the sashimi and sushi platter.there’s 2 appetizers, one cold and one warm, they are both pretty nice and light. one grilled fish, which i do not know what fish it is, but it’s good as well. i like the fried assorted vegetables and the rolled cabbage as well.sashimi platter is really enjoyable with so many different fish to try, i enjoyed all of them, but some friends didn’t like the sardine for being too fishy. sushi platter is quite good as well, but i still think the sashimi is more unique and more delicious, perhaps because the ingredients used for sushi is more common. but everything is pretty fresh and yummy.the meal ended with miso soup and a scoop of black sesame ice cream, which i didn’t enjoy since i dislike black sesame taste, but other than that, the meal was satisfying, though we were seated too far away from the chef to be able to see up close. overall, a pretty nice meal and to be able to spend time together with best friends is awesome. -- source link
