linnywines:sherlockbringingsexyback:So i just rewatched this episode and i realized something: Cas sees sex as love, which is really sweet because to him it’s that simple; if you love someone you show it with sex, so sex = love. After this, Dean tries to teach Cas about normal human things when he says “you dont talk about it!”. When Samuel comes in and talks about the porn, Cas (being his adorable little self), parrots Dean. Cas always learns from Dean and tries to follow the human guidelines he sets. But you see, Cas thinks that sex is love, and Dean said not to talk about it, so Cas thinks you’re not supposed to talk about love. Even if he hasn’t realized what he feels towards Dean is love, Dean has taught him time and time again not to talk about his feelings, and inadvertently, not to talk about LOVE and his love for Dean. -- source link
