A sketchbook page with dragons, I made my own paint using clay I found in the California foothills. The colours I’ve been able to make include a rose-brown colour, black, red-brown and a burnt ochre, to name a few. Many of the rocks I’ve found yielded different tones of these colours. The middle dragon is based on a bat skeleton, the bottom one I based on a fish neurocranium and a camel spider. -- source link
