There are pre-made flashcard decks available, but most people don’t learn a set deck of Kanji, and not all of them are useful. Some of us want to learn ‘猫’ before ’牛’, and ‘凸’ before ‘凹’. Pre-made Kanji flashcards can’t cater to your spontaneous language learning. They also include a bunch of vocabulary that you might never use, whilst missing out a ton of others that you’ll see crop up time and time again. GAMES FOR STUDY Matching game: (1+ players) Print Side A and Side B separately. Shuffle the deck, spread them out and match up the sides. Try racing with a friend! Snap: (2+ players) Print Side A and Side B separately and make separate piles. Turn over a Side A card and place in the middle. Turn over a Side B card and place in the middle. If they’re a match, be the first to slam your palm down on the centre pile before your friend does. SNAP! Pairs: (2+ players) Print Side A and Side B separately. Deal one side of cards to each player. Turn over the other Side deck one by one in the centre. As the centre card is revealed, the player with the corresponding card in their hand places it down. The first player to run out of cards wins.  Study on the go: (1 player) the cards are a convenient size to carry around in your pocket.
