Some nice crocus flowers we had to brighten up our lab last year. Did you know that saffron (the really expensive spice) is derived from a crocus (Crocus sativa)? I’ve never cooked with saffron, but when I have I suppose that’s when I’ll know I’ve made it! Also, I think purple is my favourite colour :) -- source link
