Even though I’m going for a steak dinner tonight, I can’t get last night’s sirloin out of my head. The vivid taste of beef, salt and charred fat. Meat with a bit of a chew that ultimately melted in the mouth…the memory of that sensation still haunts my thoughts and my palate.
