Aside from the fact that I can’t afford that shit this year, I’m just sick of the over-commercialized bullshit that this season has become. So I’m decking my halls with repurposed stuff I already have on-hand, and some scavenged boughs of evergreen. I’m keeping in touch with my loved ones via video calls. I am celebrating the winter solstice, the turning of the wheel of the year back toward the light, and filling my heart and my home with hope for better things ahead. -- source link
